As part of the agreement, Slash, real name Saul Hudson, will pay his ex-wife $100,000 each month in spousal support. Additionally, he will pay $39,000, approximately 1.8% of his income, each month in child support.
In addition to the monthly payments, he will also pay over $6.6 million in an equalization payment. The terms of the divorce allow him to keep a collection of over 200 guitars said to be worth $1.92 million. One of the guitars is reportedly worth $375,000. Representatives for Ferrar claim that Slash made $45 million last year alone and was attempting to hide his true worth.
Reports indicate that the recent agreement came after months of “sparring.” While some divorces, especially those involving a great deal of assets, can be contentious in Virginia, they do not all have to be.
