Reports indicate that two people exited their vehicle after being involved in the accident. They were then allegedly struck by another vehicle. In total, six people were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, including the driver police claim caused the accident.
According to the reports, the Virginia man has since been charged. Despite the DUI arrest, it is unclear what led police to suspect that the man was under the influence.
